Behavior Technician / Registered Behavior Technician (Daytime Hours)
Sunflower Development Center is seeking compassionate, reliable Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our growing team for daytime center-based, home-based, and community-based services.
We provide high-quality, ethical ABA services to children and families in a supportive, collaborative environment that values clinical integrity, professional growth, and work-life balance.
Position Details
• Daytime hours (weekday availability required)
• Center-based, home-based, and community-based sessions
• Consistent schedules with opportunities for growth
• Supportive supervision and ongoing training
Responsibilities
• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans designed by a BCBA
• Collect accurate data on client progress
• Use positive, child-centered teaching strategies
• Support skill development in communication, social, adaptive, and behavioral domains
• Collaborate with supervisors, families, and team members
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• RBT certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Experience working with children
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation for home and community sessions
Important Employment Requirements
• Applicants must be 21 years of age or older (required for insurance purposes)
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, including CORI, fingerprinting, and other required clearances
• Ability to meet all state, insurance, and regulatory requirements for ABA service delivery
