Sunflower Development Center is seeking an experienced, Massachusetts-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)to provide remote supervisory oversight of our Speech Department while our lead SLP is on maternity leave.
This is a remote temporary leadership role, ideal for a seasoned SLP who enjoys mentoring, clinical collaboration, and supporting high-quality, family-centered services without carrying a direct treatment caseload.

Position Overview
The Supervising SLP will provide clinical oversight and leadership support to our Speech-Language Pathology team during a maternity leave period. This role is fully remote and focuses on supervision, clinical guidance, documentation review, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide remote clinical supervision and consultation to SLP staff
• Review treatment plans, progress notes, and evaluations for quality and compliance
• Support clinical decision-making and problem-solving for complex cases
• Collaborate with BCBAs, OTs, and leadership as needed
• Ensure services align with best practices, ethical standards, and payer requirements
• Maintain continuity of care and clinical quality during leadership transition
Qualifications
• Active Massachusetts SLP license (required)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Minimum 3 years pediatric SLP experience preferred
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of early intervention and pediatric outpatient services
• Excellent communication, organization, and clinical judgment
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
